I need to run a report for the record of employment and print it. How is this done as I can only get the xml file.

 Great question &mdash; in Sage Payroll (Canada), the Record of Employment (ROE) is generated as an XML file because that is the format required for uploading to ROE Web . However, you can still view and print the ROE information &mdash; you just need to open the ROE in ROE Web after generating the XML. 
 How to print your ROE: 
 
 Generate the ROE in Sage Payroll (this produces the XML file). 
 Log in to ROE Web through Service Canada. 
 Upload the XML file. 
 Once uploaded, ROE Web will allow you to view , save , or print the ROE as a PDF.

 ROE Web is the only place where the printable format is created &mdash; Sage Payroll doesn&rsquo;t generate a PDF directly, so what you&rsquo;re seeing with the XML file is expected behaviour.
