What is the process to import Purchase Invoices into Sage 50 (desktop version)?

Somewhere along the way, I found the General Journal template but do not see a Purchase Invoice template.

Another question, do you currently use the IMP format? Have you built anything with Excel to create the desired Sage Import format?

I'm not actively using an import in any of the files I do bookkeeping on right now. I have programmed *.imp files, mostly for invoices, many times over the years using VB6 in the old days, VB.NET and Excel VBA.
