Price list format is as follow:

First line has to contain a Version Number, Country Code, and the word 'Price Lists':

Simply Accounting version 2012   Version Number = 19001
Sage 50 Accounting version 2013   Version Number = 20101

Canada Country Code = 1

Second line has to contain the word "Currency: " and the price currency

For each item/service, you should have:

• the part code in column A,
• the description in column B,
• and all different prices in next column.

Please follow the same format as in the screen shot below:

This is not importing. I have successfully imported  the Inventory list minus data in the  the two price columns as a Sage 50 formatted file . Now I want to add the prices for these two columns as a Price list file.

What to do now?

I am going to save this instruction for the future. I was able to import the Inventory list minus the two price columns. My next task is to import the two columns of prices into this Inventory list. Can I import into a category or must I import before moving the imported list into a category?

You cannot import inventory item that is already existed.  If you need to import price, follow the import price list instruction from preivous post.  If you need to import inventory, you can follow the link below:

Exporting and import inventory and services data using CSV format with Sage Canadian Edition

For category, after you import inventory and update the price, you can go to setup, settings, inventory & services, categories and assign items to different categories.
