    Hi Hardatt,

The price in the PO of the item is based on the price used in the last purchase invoice posted.  If you never use the item to post a purchase invoice, you will not get the price automatically pop up.

If you are using Sage 50 Quantum, you will see the Tab Vendors under the Inventory & Services Records.  When you click Open Vendor List button, it will bring up the Inventory & Vendors window.  In that window, you can link the item to individual vendor and specify the price.  Then, you will use the setting here for that particular vendor instead of the price used in the last purchase invoice.  Again, this feature is only available in Quantum.

    Hope this helps.

If you are using Quantum, you will want to have 'Automatically create inventory & vendor associations if they do not exist' selected at the bottom of the screen under Setup | Settings | Inventory & Services | Options.

The program will then build a database of where you last purchased products, and store the price you paid.

(there is no automatic entry of item cross-references, such as having one vendor use 'MMM04447' and you use '3-M 04447'.  But you can go through the Supplier items and clean this up periodically if there are differences.)
