Cost for developer to create .IMP file from excel into AR sales invoice?

SOLVED

Good Afternoon:

Our company runs on a pretty small budget. I have been reading "How to Import Sales Invoices from external format". I need a third party developer to write this file for me. The actual import seems pretty straightforward after that.

I am wondering if anyone out there has used this service and what it cost you. The cost could be prohibitive of me delving into this any further.

Thanks

Cathy

    Hi Cathy,

The .IMP file is a data file, so it would be different for each invoice.

Did you mean that you have an existing invoicing system that you need to create an export file from?

There are several third party vendors offering software that can import directly from Excel or other formats.  I think the cost is under $1000.

I hope that helps, please post back (the site may be under maintenance through part of this weekend).

The official Sage site for third party developers for Sage 50 Canadian is:

    http://sagepss.com/Solutions.aspx?p=6

Be careful that anything you buy works with Sage 50 CANADIAN, not Sage 50 U.S. (Peachtree.)

The unofficial (and much more productive) way, would be searching for 'Sage 50 Canadian Import' from www.google.ca

You would find www.businnovatech.com, www.swagsys.com, and the technical document on importing from text files, all on the first page.
