Question

due to dard drive crash I started imputting data onto a temp file so I could pay bills etc. 
 Now I have my data back is there any way I can merge the temporary entries back into my regular file?

Based on your situation, it's important to note that Sage 50 CA does not support the functionality to directly export transactions from one company file and import them into another as part of its standard features. This means that Sage 50 CA does not have a built-in ability to merge transactions between multiple company files directly. 
 However, you do have a couple of options: 
 
 Manually Enter the Missing Transactions : You can manually enter the transactions from the temporary file into your main company file. This method ensures that your data is accurately reflected in your primary file. 
 Special Solutions with Add-Ons : There are special solutions that can be developed as add-ons to help with tasks like merging data. For this, you would need to contact a Sage Development Partner who might be able to provide a custom solution for your specific needs.
