2. Reports showing the tracking of organizations/customers taking fuel on credit by making sure daily deliveries posted match pending deliveries in the system

3. Any other reports that I should prepare which that maybe of help to the management for decision making

    Hi  ,

Thanks for your detailed post—and kudos for aiming to build strong reporting to support your station's management decisions!

Here are a few suggestions based on Sage 50 Canada's capabilities:

     1. Overdue Reports

To track unpaid customer invoices by aging bracket (e.g., 30, 60, 90+ days), you’ll want to use the Customer Aged Overdue Invoices report. This report is ideal for managing receivables and credit control.

     2. Tracking Deliveries on Credit

For this type of report, you may need to reconcile daily delivery postings against open (unpaid) invoices or customer balances. Depending on how you enter these deliveries, it may be helpful to:

     3. Additional GAAP-aligned Reports for Management

To support better decision-making, consider generating:

    • Accounts Receivable Aged Summary – to monitor collection cycles.

    • Trial Balance and Balance Sheet – to spot data inconsistencies and stay GAAP-compliant.

    • Sales Reports by Customer/Product – to analyze trends and credit risk.
