We changed out Sage 50 to a shared version a few months back. It started out that it was slow, can't have 2 people reporting an invoice or other journal entry at the same time as it would state someone is making a change. This week, its really bad, same error but you would be stuck, took me 30 minutes to print a simple invoice.
Called Sage at the 870-200-9897 number, and went to 2 different people from india or something. If this was spam, let me know. They started to argue I'm not allowed to call customer service and had to open my file 3 times. Then they argued with me that we can stop the sharing, and sage would not work. I started to have a bad feeling and stopped them from accessing my computer before they transferred me the first time. I stopped the share and told them that if I cant access my files, they would need to help me get it working again.
I was right, it was as simple as just clicking on stop to make Sage local again. but they put me on hold for a few minutes while I did the stop and then they hung up.
Please hire competent people.
