Hi, there! Is there a way to generate a report that shows only clients whose addresses are in a particular state? OR, is there a way to generate a report of active and inactive clients with a particular state in the name of the client?

If you are talking about city or province, you can go to Reports in the menu bar. Select Lists and click on customers. You will then see the Customer List – Modify Report window opened with Report Options highlighted on the right hand side. Put a check mark to include inactive customers and the report will include inactive client. Then, you click on filter report on the left hand side, put check mark to Use your filter specification and setup your filter for Province or City.
The report shown below has both active and inactive customers from Richmond in British Columbia. Please note that inactive client will have (inactive customer) beside the name.
