Crystal Report editing

I have invoices developed through Crystal Reports that I have been using for a customer for some time now. They work fine. However, when I go to edit them, the program does not open up. So, I go through Crystal Reports 2008 directly and open the report, make changes, and then save the report. Now I get an error "unable to upload report".

I believe my Crystal 2008 is version 12. Therefore, it be a too recent version for Sage 50 crystal reports.

How do I get crystal 2008 version 8.5 (that Sage 50 indicates is the version the reports run off of) and do I need to uninstall the version I have?

Hi,

the Crystal Reports 8.5 for Simply Accounting version was shipped with Simply Accounting in 2005 or so. If you or your client have the installation CD from back then, it'll be on there.

It may still be available from SAP, probably at the same price as the latest release. There was a note to that effect on the SAP website a few years ago.

Hi,
