Sage 50 Premium

I have used Sage for many years. A month ago I had my computer hacked requiring a factory reset.

I backed up everything to an external hard drive. I have my original disc with serial numbers and activation code.

When I finally uploaded my data files, I got an error message saying that I needed an upgrade. I don't want to do that if it is going to cost as I am close to retiring completely ASAP.

Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks

    Good Morning, Farrell:

    If you have used your original disc to install Sage 50 2019 on your computer you probably installed 2019.0. The upgrade is possibly just to move the installation from 2019.0 to 2019.1 or 2019.2. Way back in 2019 you possibly updated the program when these updates came along as they would be included in the 2019 purchase. You will not get the 2020.0 update as this would have been a paid purchase.

    Try the suggested updates until you get to the installation that will allow you to open your data.
