Converting Quickbooks Premier 2013

Hello

I have been using Simply for over 13 years.  I recently took on a new client that was using Quickbooks Premier 2013.

I would like to convert this to Simply 2013 but I have not been successful.

Any suggestions/info would be appreciated.

Thank you

    Hi GRCochrane,

Sorry to inform you that currently the versions you can transfer information to Sage 50 Accounting 2013 from QuickBooks are 2011/2012. For QuickBooks 2013, you will have to wait until Sage 50 Accounting 2014 roll-out.

You can transfer some list of records into an existing company in Sage 50 2013. You can create a new sage 50 2013 data file and then transfer the lists. You can access the steps to transfer customer, vendor, employee and inventory lists from QuickBooks to Sage 50 Accounting from the link below

Adding data from QuickBooks to an existing Sage 50 Accounting file - http://bit.ly/12WoBaX

For transferring the list of Accounts, you will have to do it in the New Company Setup wizard. At step 5, list of accounts, you can select “Have Sage 50 create a list of accounts from an export file. Select the options if you are switching from QuickBooks, Quicken or Myob”.  Then, you select QuickBooks, and you will be given the option to do the import (you can also import Vendors, Customers, Employees, Inventory & Services, and Projects at this step).

    Hope this helps
