CLEARING OUT OLD INVENTORY ITEMS/DATA

I have a number of old inventory items i would like to clear out but Sage won't allow me to unless I clear the look up data first. However agreeing to this prompt window that pops up does not tell me if the next screen will allow me to choose which inventory items I am clearing data on or if it will be a complete clearing of ALL our inventory look up data ( which I most definitely do NOT want to do) Anyone know? Or any other work around if so to get rid of unwanted inventory items and clean up my inventory listing? I have SAGE 50 Premium 2-user.

I have a similar issue with clearing inventory items that have been discontinued and have zero activity from DEC 2020

I have tried Clearing items with no success. The systems stalls at a certain point. Sage suggested I clear one item at a time. This would involve a lot of time.

Is there a fix ????
