You are looking at the import formats for two completely different programs.  Your subject says you are using the Sage 50 Canadian program which is this forum but you are referencing the Sage Business Accounting program in your second link.  Two different programs will likely not have the same format for import nor will one likely work on the other program.

In this program, you cannot import categories, quantities or costs.  They must be set later using the user interface of the program.

So that means that for SAGE50 Canada I would need to manually enter cost, category and quantities? I have over 300 products in stock right now...
