Bulk Edit Inventory & Services using csv.

Question

Hello. I was wondering whether it's possible to bulk edit Inventory & Services using a csv file to change the Revenue accounts of nearly every item. When I try to import the file I edited, it skips them all, telling me that they are duplicates. I haven't had any luck in finding information on how to edit instead of just import using csv, and I'd like to avoid restoring a backup; any info or sources would be much appreciated!

 Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, Sage 50 Canada doesn&rsquo;t allow direct bulk edits of inventory items via CSV if the system detects duplicates. One approach might be to modify your CSV to ensure the records are updated instead of flagged as duplicates by adjusting specific fields like item numbers or descriptions.
