Direct deposit

Question

We just switched over to Sage 50 and we are supposed to have direct deposit included in our package but I can't seem to get it set up. Can anyone walk me through the step by step process to get it done?

Hi Robin, 
 Great question &mdash; and you&rsquo;re very close! Having Electronic Payroll Service allows you to process payroll, but it&rsquo;s separate from Direct Deposit (EFT) . Direct deposit requires an additional setup, typically through a provider like Worldline. 
 To get started with direct deposit, here are the key steps: 
 
 Sign up for the Direct Deposit service: How to sign up for Direct Deposit 
 Set up your employees for direct deposit: How to enable Direct Deposit for employees 
 Create and upload your payment file (via Worldline): How to upload a direct payment or deposit to Worldline 
 
 If you're instead using EFT through your bank, this article may also help: EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) test file with creation number 0000 
 If you&rsquo;re unsure which option is included in your plan, it&rsquo;s a good idea to check with Sage support so they can confirm and guide you on the correct setup.
