I need the help for bank reconciliation again, i have other company which never did bank reconciliation, i did it manually for the past two years, and it is balance, no outstanding checks. so i want to set bank reconciliation for the first time, following the step that i got it for here (by the way, it is very useful), for the outstanding list , i leave it blank. however, the window of bank reconciliation show there is $2891.52, outstanding balance, which i don't where it come from.
this is the information i put in :
statement start Date: 01/01/2015
Statement End Date:01/31/2015
Reconciliation Date:01/31/2015
Statement Opening Balance :50341.00 ( which is the balance of book and bank account)
Statement End Balance 54214.75(which is the bank statement at the Jan 31,2015)
the outstanding balance 2891.52
Unresolved 3873.75
the resolved and Discrepancy show 0
this is the first time set up bank reconciliation,
can anyone help me to find what is wrong which my setting.
I am very appreciate for any help.
