Start new fiscal year

Hi 

I was trying to start a new fiscal year from 2023 April 1 to 2024 March 31. However, an error message popped up and stop me from doing so. What should I do? Thank you

    1. Restore from Backup: You can restore your company file from a backup if you have one available before attempting to start the new fiscal year.

    2. Advanced Database Check: To run this, go to the Home window and select Maintenance > Advanced Database Check. This will help identify and resolve issues with your data.

      • If duplicate data is found during the check, this could be causing the issue. You may need to contact Sage Support for assistance in clearing the duplicate data before proceeding with creating the new fiscal year. They can guide you through the steps to resolve this and ensure that the transition to the new fiscal year is smooth.

    I tried both method. I restored from a backup file, same problem. Did Advanced database Check, passed, but still can't start a new year. Same error message. Any other way to solve this? Thanks
