Hello Deborah Norris,

we do have a migration tool to bring your data from Sage50 to Sage Cloud, but to bring data the other way around, I would recommend checking with Sage50 support what is the best way to accomplish it.

In Sage Cloud, you have the ability to export several of your records, (refer to this article) but the question is how do you then import them into Sage50? Please contact Sage 50 support for guidance on that.

Hi Deborah Norris, thanks for reaching out. Just wanted to let you know that if you have Sage 50 already installed, here's 6 Steps for moving data or connecting Sage Accounting to Sage 50 CA.

I highly suggest staying with sage cloud.  The rda is more than likely the direction sage will be taking.  Quickbooks is discontinuing their desktop version end of this year and going with QBO only.

Why are you moving back?

We are investigating a move to the cloud but have been finding issues that would interfere with my daily work, making it more labor intensive.

Sage told me that the cloud version functionality is not as good as the desktop
