Using: Sage Accounting Standard Canada

There is a sales tax code missing, and there seem to be no way to create a custom tax code. In Ontario, some items/services are not subject to the 5% GST but are subject to the 8% PST. There is no code for this in Sage, and it must be manually edited for each entry: so for insurance that is auto debited each month, you must reverse calculate the total to find the subtotal, then subtract the one from the other to get your PST total, and enter each manually. This is subject  to error. As is not being able to assign a default tax code to an account. (Some of many other failures I have so far encountered with Sage, probably one of the worst ones yet. ... maybe I should have gone with XERO...)
