Hi All
I know many businesses use social media for their online audience and I am aware of some benefits, but I would love to know what are the benefits of social media for your business.

Thanks Emmet for you thoughts and input. Presumably it has made a difference in what you do?

It sure has. It is one element of any robust digital marketing strategy. Of course it is not a silver bullet. SEO, Paid media, Conversion rate optimisation, email etc etc are all key elements also.
Hi Nick
We employ our own full time Social Media Manager to handle all our posts. As we are in hospitality we need to keep our content very current and have found this is the easiest way to go rather than employ agencies etc,

Wow I guess in hospitality it must be a key element in generating the necessary 'noise' and footfall you require. I think we need to up our social media game, but I don't think we are yet at a fulltime level.
I love social media it's one of my favourite ways of marketing, it offers a powerful platform to promoting products or services. It also provides a cost-effective way to reach a large and diverse audience, allowing businesses to showcase their offerings, engage with customers directly, and build brand awareness. My favourite platform has to be LinkedIn for business and on a personal level Tik Tok (the videos are very entertaining on there).

Nat
Tik Tok? Whats that? Never heard if it? .......... nick carefully reaches across the desk and turns his mobile face down.....
Oh it's brilliant Nick. However, you can waste a lot of time as it's highly addictive. Users are able to share videos, whether it be for business or personal reasons. The amount of times I have laughed out loud is no ones business. There are a lot of businesses now using Tik Tok as it has high levels of engagement.
Nope definitely never heard of it and I definitely haven't wasted hours watching videos of people challenging themselves to eat seriously hot chillies or cats doing random things to random music. Wasn't aware that businesses were starting to delve into the Tik Tok world though.
Couldn't agree more with you Andrew-T
