How can leaders and managers help their team members navigate both change and transition successfully?



Leaders and managers are pivotal in guiding teams through change and transition. They can do so by communicating effectively, showing empathy, sharing a clear vision, providing support, fostering adaptability, recognising achievements, and creating feedback channels.

How do you believe leaders and managers can best support their team members during these transitions?

  • I believe leaders and managers should support their team members by being transparent, explaining and educating them about the change and transition. Communication is important.

    Involving the team members, example listening to them and letting them give a feedback.  You should know your team members, therefore you know the ones that need more assurance , be prepared to give them additional support if need be.

    Assess the impact of the change and transition to see if it is working as planned . If possible bring outside help or designate a spokesperson.
