Online Payslips Sage Cloud HR

Suggested

We have moved from Sage 50 desktop payroll using the online payslip services to Sage 50 cloud payroll and sage HR services. Multiple employees from different companies that we run the payroll for are not receiving their welcome emails or online payslips, after chatting to sage HR on webchat and them sending out a password reset to some employees, they have managed to login. I have been advised that this is likely due to the sage ID already being allocated due to using the other sage services before.

As we have hundreds of clients using this, is there a faster more efficient way of ensuring that everyone can receive welcome emails and view their payslips.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for using Sage Community Hub.

There may be some confusion, as Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 50cloud Payroll are the same product. By moved do you mean you have moved from Sage 50 Payroll to Sage Payroll (formerly Sage Business Cloud Payroll)?

My answer below will be based on this assumption.

If you add employees to a new Sage HR company, which will be what you are doing, when you add them using the same email address used for another Sage HR company, they can simply log in with the same Sage ID they created for that other company. All a welcome email is for is to notify an employee they've been added to a company, and to be able to create a Sage ID from that welcome email. As they will likely already have a Sage ID from logging into the Sage HR company that was integrated with Sage 50 Payroll, they won't need a welcome email. They can just go to sage.hr/signin and log in with their existing details, which is why many have been able to reset their password. They will also be provided a link to the Sage HR company the next time they receive a payslip notification email.

Those added with the same email address, when logged in will be able to switch between their two companies (one for their old payslips in the Sage 50 Payroll integrated company and one for their future payslips in the Sage Payroll integrated company). Due to the situation of you moving products, it would be best you inform the employees to make them aware which company is the one their future payslips will be available in.

If your employees log in using the mobile app, they will be prompted to enter a domain when registered under more than one Sage HR company. If they don't know what this is, you can provide this to them by simply looking at your URL when logged in to the company yourself.

There is a way to resend welcome emails to multiple people, but this is only possible for users that have never logged in before. There is a Send welcome email to all option in the Never logged in report. For more details follow the resend to multiple employees option in the guide below.
