Customer Terms Changed

Suggested

We are currently receiving numerous customer complaints about statements, when this was investigated in-house it shows that our business settings are 30 day terms but on numerous customer accounts in the payment details tab the terms are either 'none' or '25 days'.

This was queried with Sage who advised it was changed in-house which is NOT correct.

Sage then suggested we upload customer details and update the information, we followed the instructions but advised Sage it comes up with an error because terms cannot be changed in customer details update. Escalations team also advised this but they tried and it came up with the same error.

I am now been advised by the escalation team that we will need to change each customer manually (Over 5000)

They also advised that there is an ongoing investigation with the same issue

Sage deny it is anything to do with any updates or changes made by Sage.

    Hi Diana,

I’m sorry to read about the difficulties you’ve experienced with customer terms and the challenges around bulk updating them.

I can see that you’re already in discussion with our escalation team, and I hope they’re able to support you in reaching the most appropriate resolution.

Regarding the issue with importing payment terms, I’ve checked with our development team. They’ve confirmed the issue has been identified and is being worked on, although I’m unable to share a timeline at this stage.
