Accepting a sales quotation

Solved

I have a client who issued a sales quotation to a customer.

The customer wanted to accept this but to do so they replied to a no reply sage email account which got lost.

Is there a way for customers to place an order from receiving a quotation directly via email?

My client is concerned about potential orders not being placed when issuing quotes.

    Hi ACCIRE,

Could you confirm which product your client is using and we'll look into that for you.

    Hi Accire,

    Thanks for using Community Hub.

I am not sure why this happened and if your customers clients has responded we should be able to check this on our side and also in product.

You can check the status of the Quote and if accepted by going to the Quote in Sage Accounting, then on the right it will tell you the status.

If it has not been accepted then please get in touch so we can do some further checks on our side.

    Hi Stuart,

The client's customer seems to have replied to a "no reply" sage type email address. My client has now manually accepted the order.

Could you please advise if customers can accept an order from the quote in their email stage as I'm not sure what this looks like on their end? or do they need to separately place the order via phone/ email directly?

    Thanks.

    Hi Accire,

    Thanks for using Community Hub.

The Quote email that goes out to the customer, does have a Accept quote option to get this they would open the email received, then Select View quote, then when they view the quote the Accept option is located at the top right of the screen.

If the customer would need to reply to your client advise them to email your client directly, Alternatively if the client was to Seelct Decline they are given an option to reply to your client
