One of my clients has a fair value reserve. The note to the accounts details the balance brought forward, movement in year and then closing balance. The current year figures all tie up, however the comparative balances do not - for some reason the closing balance does not add in the movement in the year. See detail below.
Has anyone come across this before and, more importantly, does anyone know how to fix the problem?
