*****EDIT*****
Have spoken to Sage and the only time the test button is required is if you actually have a proxy server. Went ahead and filed a client's accounts and they were accepted.
I've followed the advice in the software and Sage website:
I have entered my Presenter ID, auth code and email address in the Companies House Details screen.
In the configure efiling page I have port 80 and my registered email address. I do not have a proxy server and have checked this in Win 10 Internet Settings (in Control Panel) - the computer plugs straight in to my BT fibre router. When I click on "Test" it says it cannot contact Sage.Com, please check proxy settings.
I use Norton 360 firewall and Sage Accounts Production has full access.
Has anyone come across this issue?
