file for multiple companies without having to change the "Practice Details" every time

Whenever I file a tax return from within the software I have to change the “Practice Details” to match the details of the company I am filing for. This is very longwinded especially when I have an increasing number of companies that I need to file for. Is there a way around this or a different subscription that allows you to file for multiple companies without having to change the “Practice Details” every time?

    Thank you for your query.

    The only reason why you would need to keep changing the Practice Details is if you have multiple clients in which you are not the authorised agent for the client. You will need to be the authorised agent via the Government Gateway in order to ensure that the Practice Details can remain unchanged for each submission you make.

    For further information, I'd recommend you head to gov.uk and you'll be able to find out more regarding authorised agents.
