SCT does not appear to correctly deal with an R&D claim for a long period of account which spans 1 April 2024 (i.e 18 months ended 31 December 2024).

Instead of treating each claim as a standalone, one for the twelve months to 30 June 2024 and the other for the 6 months to 31 December 2024, as other providers do (i.e. TaxCalc) it time apportions the figures over the two period leading to an incorrect result.

Is Sage aware of the issue and if so when does it expect it to be resolved please.
