I don't know if this is something that is already available, but we have a need to apply some control that allows us to stop supply or production when a permit expires.

I understand there is a manual ability to start or stop supply by ticking or unticking a box on the stock description.

Is there any ability to setup production permits for build and supply of parts that have a date field for the end of the production permit? So we can stop both Works order processing and sop interaction?

I think the drawing register allows some dates to be recorded against a BOM or part but this is just a record not a control and doesn't stop planning or production if they have expired?
