Cannot find Transaction. This transaction type cannot be viewed here. Please go to Order Enquiries

Question

Hi, 
 I was converting a Pro Forma to a sales order and I recevied an error message. I tried to continue but I kept getting this error. 
 I closed Sage and reopened it and it say COMPLETED under document status saying its converted it but it didnt. 
 When I click view order from the Pro Forma I get the error "This transaction type cannot be viewed here. Please go to Order Enquiries" 
 Does anybody know how I go about solving this issue? Will this affect Sage in any way?

I found the issue, when the internet dropped while opening the proforma it created a # file. It allocated everything to that order but when you go to view it, it didnt exist. When sage crashes it creates a temporary # file. In workspaces you go to Sales Order Processing and Sales Document Status type in # in Document No and the temporary file will show up, delete and this will fix the issue.

In the View Proforma menu option, what does it have in the "Order No" column for that proforma? Does that order exist? 
 You could mark the original proforma as Live (DocumentStatusID=0) and try again, making a note of any error messages! 
 It's unlikely that any accounts have been affected but it's possible some stock has been allocated to a corrupt order - so it's worth running Prove Ledgers in Accounting System Manager.
