We are moving Sage to a new Server and a new SQL Instance (no change in Domain) and would like to the keep the user numbers in Sys Admin the same. Usually a new install will renumber everyone, meaning user names assigned to pre move transactions are no longer correct. My colleague has asked the same question and Sage are not aware if this is possible. The 2 existing articles that exist online at Sage do not cover this process and it is not as straightforward as just restoring the previous Config DB.
