Prior year journal where no prior year setup

Question

We have recently migrated to Sage 200 (Mar 2025) and I need to make an amendment in the prior year 2024. 
 However, the first financial year I can see in "Maintain accounting periods" is 2025 and I have been told that the 2024 year was not setup for us because we only started working in Sage 200 in 2025. 
 How can I make an amendment for 2024 or enter my Year end journals when we close that year?

 Based on what you've said, unfortunately you're unable to make amendments to the previous financial years if these periods don't exist in the program. 
 
 For further assistance with this, I would recommend speaking to your sage business partner.
