You would need to create a ParentOuter Join between the SLCustomerAccounts table and the SLCustomerAlerts table on the layout.  It should automatically add the correct link between the tables, you just need to chaneg the type from Inner to ParentOuter.  This would then allow you to add the SLCustomerAlerts.AlertText field onto the layout.  If you add a condition based on value of the SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus field to the AlertText field then you can 'hide' the values where the AlertStatus = 0 (i.e. Inactive).

Thank you. This shows me the first alert but not any after that. Do you know how I'd get this to repeat for as many active alerts as there are that exist on the account?

You could do this using a sub-report on the layout with criteria of SLCustomerAccounts.SLCustomerAccountID and SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus ensuring that the SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus Default Value is set to Is and the box ticked.

Thanks Steve. Sorry, sub-reports not my forte. I've got it pulling multiple alerts now but it's pulling them from all accounts rather than just the sales order I'm reporting from. 

On the sub-report criteria you need two criteria SLCustomerAlerts.SLCustomerAccountID and SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus:

For the SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus ensure that the Default Value is set to Is and the box is ticked.

Then on the parent report click on the sub-report and select Criteria in the Behaviour section of the Properties.  Link the SLCustomerAlerts.SLCustomerAccountID to SLCustomerAccounts.SLCustomerAccountID and the SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus to SLCustomerAlerts.AlertStatus.

That should then work.
