P&L not working correctly after year end

Question

Hi, 
 I have run the year end process and all is fine. 
 I have come to run the P&L report for the new year but its not showing correctly, any transactions posted before the year end but for the new financial year are not coming through, however any transaction posted after the year end process are coming through? 
 Any ideas?

Hi Leighton, Thanks for using Sage City. In the first instance I'd suggest checking the data just to rule out corruption. Go to File > Maintenance > Check data and ensure no errors are reported. I would then suggest checking the chart of accounts to make sure you don't have any P&L codes outside the P&L range. Go to Nominal > Chart Of Accounts > Double click your chart then click Check. You can also have a look at your audit trail / nominal activity to make sure the transactions are there and haven't been removed by the Clear Audit Trail process, if they are there, make sure the nominal codes they're posted to are P&L nominal codes in the P&L range in your Chart of Accounts.
