There are a few ways of running these reports, can you outline the steps you're taking then we'll see if we can get to the bottom of it for you?

Hi Andy,

I select the nominal activity report from the reporting tab. I select the last financial year as the period, then calculate. From the table generated, if I select the rent line item, it shows all rent paid during the financial year, however if I select to export the detailed summary report, not all rent line items show in the file,

Can I check, are you using Sage 50 Accounts or Sage Accounting? You've posted in the Sage 50 Accounts forum, but if you're using Sage Accounting I'll move your post to that forum for you.

Reading the steps you have taken seem to be the correct, I just want to clarify the report you have selected, 

Export Summary option:
This report will provide you with a brief viewing of amounts for opening closing balances for that financial year.

Export Detailed option:
This report will show all of the above however it will also include all transactions that are associated to the nominal code you have selected.

I have attached a link below guiding you through the steps to run the Report and also how to export the report. You will need to select the Export Detailed option and choose either a CSV or PDF file:
