Just to dig into that a bit further, the files on the backup server, are they Sage Backups, or a copy of your data files? How is the information held on that server and how do you normally access it?

I ran the year end on the server so all files on it.  I just thought I would be able to access them from my laptop.  But i use cloud and all of my data seems to be on my c drive

Archives don't sync over RDA >> Remote Data Access - Which files synchronise? (sage.com)

If you want access to your archive on your laptop, go back to the service and click File >> Backup

Untick everything in the list and then tick Company Archives, take a backup and then restore this on to your laptop.
