Filing statutory financial statements Sage 50

Is there a bolt on or tool for creating Statutory Financial Statements to be filed at Companies House by ourselves inhouse with Sage 50 Accounts Professional?

Would like to hear from anyone with experience in this.

We are a small Business so Sage 50 is big enough but getting the impression from Sage that there isn't then the software available to produce Statutory Accounts unless we move to Sage 200 etc.

    Thanks for using Community Hub.

    This isn't currently a feature of Sage 50 Accounts itself, but I'd recommend checking the Sage Marketplace to see if there is an add on available: Sage Marketplace >

    I'll leave your post open in case anyone in the community uses an add on or can share what they do for these reports.

    Hi Fiona. 

    Our reporting software allows reporting on the balance sheet yearly. So you can create your P&L, and Balance Sheet report, yearly - for the year to be filed, and the previous financial year.

    In addition, you can define your reporting Chart of Accounts, which would deliver most of it you’re looking for. You would need to post adjustments in Sage and update the data in our ProudNumbers for Sage 50 to accommodate the End of Year adjustments.

    We don't have any functionality for filing the accounts with Companies House, but please contact us if you need any help.
