Have you completed the year end process? If so, I'd recommend restoring a back up, checking the dates and running the year end process again.

If you haven't run the year end, and the system is still showing that the 2023 year end is next, then that suggests that either the 2023 year end was not completed at the time, or you've restored a pre year end backup at some point and not reprocessed that year end. 

If the latter applies, you would just need to run the 2023 year end and then the 2024 year end to move into 2025.
