Year End Showing year end 2023 rather than 2024

Question

Hi there, 
 Trying to run year end to 31.12.24 however it is showing that the year end that will be completed will be to 31.12.23. 
 I don't know why this is as I run year end annually. 
 
 What solutions can you offer as there is an automated message on sage support phone number this morning.

Hi Catriona, Thanks for your post. Have you completed the year end process? If so, I'd recommend restoring a back up, checking the dates and running the year end process again. If you haven't run the year end, and the system is still showing that the 2023 year end is next, then that suggests that either the 2023 year end was not completed at the time, or you've restored a pre year end backup at some point and not reprocessed that year end. If the latter applies, you would just need to run the 2023 year end and then the 2024 year end to move into 2025. If this helps, please click Verify Answer . Regards, Andy Sage UKI
