Problem with date criteria

Question

I created a Nominal Ledger report many years ago but I think I must have tinkered with it at some time because I now have a problem when running it. When the Criteria Box displays the end date field it pre-populated with 30/11/23 as shown: 
 
 In every other report, that date is today's date and I cannot find how to put things back to that. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

If you edit the report and click Report on the toolbar and then Criteria 
 Select the Transaction Date Criteria and click modify 
 Change the status from enabled to preset and click OK 
 The date screen will appear, set the date from 30/11/2023 to 31/12/2050 > OK 
 Finally, Select the Transaction Date Criteria and click modify 
 Change the status from preset to enabled and click OK > OK 
 Save the report
