Have you at some time cleared stock transactions?

I can't  see any Brought Forward quantity which may be skewing your quantities

The simple answer is, I wouldn't know.  Where would Brought Forward quantity be stored?  I'm assuming Sage is storing datums in some other table to allow it to "start from here" when it's compiling it's stock figure.

I was wrong, sorry - there is no Brought Forward figure for products; I just double checked my own products.

However I know that if stock transactions have been cleared the Retrospective Stock Valuation doesn't work correctly so there maybe something intrinsic in the way Sage works out stock from day zero.  Hopefully someone from Sage will shed more light on this situation.

Did you extract all the transactions for that product shown or only from a certain date ?

Yes, it's all-transactions.  Incidentally I'm querying ODBC, and ODBC is agreeing with the all-transactions in activity and coming up with the same answer.

You can check if Clear Stock has been run in Help > About in the software, its under Configuration > Clear Stock Date.
