My sage package has just jumped up too by about £100 per month and I have no use for training packages etc. MTD has made it necessary to have this software but I can glean the information I need from the standard package and use a bridging software like my bank provides for free just to send vat etc online.

Sage 50 only does a semblance of the info that I need for my vat scheme and I spreadsheet the rest for the formula anyway so I will be saying goodbye to Sage right now

I don't need a package that will cost me the equivalent of 2 weeks holiday in St Ives for a year
