Restore Backup

Was using ver 25 which has stpped due to TLS . Purchased 28.0.226.0 installed OK.  Put the Company details in. Update available to28.1.404.0. and installed . All Ok. Went to restore backup file Error message 

You are using version 2022 of sage accounts but the data you are trying to use appears to be from a later version. To use it you will nedd to upgrade your version of Sage Account. 

Not possible I am using the latest version and the backup data is from ver 25. 

Sorry to be a pain but I’m stuck I cannot find any solutions on the net you are my only option
