In theory, you could copy the contents of the CD onto a memory stick or into a shared folder and run the install.exe file in the Install folder on the new laptop. However, that version of the software is no longer supported and unlikely to have been tested with the operating on the new laptop so you will almost certainly encounter problems.

You could purchase and download Sage 50 Accounts Standard  v30 and restore a backup into that. Instant 2015 is v21 of the software so restore and upgrade should not cause any issues.

Alternatively, you could move to our cloud solution, Sage Accounting.
