upgraded from v28 to v29.2.398.0

our external IT co upgraded us last week --successfully this time

tried + failed earlier in year, and reset up new installs on a virtual server - using a data backup

we seem to have lost all 'links' to all attachements, ie historic drilldown supplier invocies now have lost links [ years of them] - will cause a complaince issue..

supplier "attached docs/contracts"

anda couple of journal attachements

also YEnd archives ar e not available

also all report / invocies + stements updated design templates - disappeared

Fortunately all vat returns are visible

Report designer - lost all the sales invocie and stament amended templates for several of the companies

[again these all still reside on the th e old data held on a different server ]

SO : is there any SIMPLE way to get the missing data files to/link to / otherwise available from,  the new dataset ?  

We continue in the new data set which is linked to several 3rd party ERPs/CRM

    If all that data is missing, it would suggest that the data has been moved to a new directory and only the accdata folder copied over.

    If this is true, hopefully you’re IT has access to the old location to copy the additional folders over (attachments, archives, layouts etc)

    If they don’t, have you taken a backup that includes ‘all files’ as this will also include what’s missing.
