Thanks for using Sage City.

Currently when using Sage 50 you’ll need to re-enter your HMRC details each time you do your VAT Return. This is due to us not storing the token passed back from HMRC.

if you’re an accountant using Sage 50 Client Manager we do store the token and you’ll only be asked for the login details every 18 months. You need to be on v25.1 or above for this feature. We currently aren’t able to extend this functionality out to the other variants of Sage 50.

Hi Ian.... 4 years later and im still having to re-authorise for VAT returns.  Are sage ever going to do something with this?
