MTD submission error

I am trying to submit my VAT return and the following error occurs when I try to choose a company 
 Unable to read company file

Hi Tina, Thanks for using Community Hub. As a first step I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the MTD module. You can uninstall the Module using Add / Remove programs on your computer, the module is called "Sage MTD for VAT" For help with reinstalling, you can use the following article: MTD Module > Regards, Andy Sage UKI
