Just to check, should the company be the setup for Ireland but has mistakenly been setup for the UK?

Sadly you can only apply one regional VAT set up in a single company in Sage 50 Accounts.

If the company has been set up for the UK and has UK tax codes etc then you would need to start again and create the company to have an Irish Setup.

This will mean re-entering any data that has previously been entered, as it can't be converted over.

Sage 50 Accounts looks to the computer's regional settings to determine which settings to apply when you create/open a company.

When you create the new company make sure it's set to English - Ireland.
