VAT Detailed report for 4 year period

Question

Is there a way to run a detailed VAT report for a period of 4 years? (rather than having to open each quarter report for the past 4 years and extract data from there) And is there a way to only run it for a specific nominal code?

Yes 
 Click VAT > VAT Return > Enter the 4 year date range and Tick "Include Reconciled Transactions" > Calculate. 
 From here the return will generate for the 4 year period and you can run the detailed VAT Report. 
 VAT Return reports (sage.com) 
 You will then close out at the end and not reconcile to exit. 
 I would suspect this may take sometime to generate if you have a large amount of data.
